Final B Line and G Line Service Changes

Changes impacting your service

We’re excited to offer our customers new transit options with the opening of the Gold Rail Line or G Line to Arvada and Wheat Ridge. This new rail line represents another major step in developing a comprehensive transit network to meet the transportation needs of our customers in the greater metro area.

    Routes with service reductions or improvements may impact ADA Access-a-Ride service availability.

Final changes for local routes

  • route 8

    Service will serve the 41st & Fox Station.

  • route 17

    Service on Route 17 will be replaced with service on new Route 125.

  • route 19

    Route 19 service will deviate from Pecos Street to serve the Pecos Junction Station.

  • route 31

    Service will be deviated from Federal Boulevard to serve the Clear Creek – Federal Station and discontinue service to the US 36 & Sheridan Station.

  • route 31L

    Service will be discontinued. Alternate service will be provided by routes: 19, 31, and G Line

  • route 50

    Route 50 will be discontinued. Service from Route 50 on Sheridan between Dartmouth and 44th avenues will be become part of Route 51, which will provide more frequent service on Route 51.

  • route 51

    Route 50 will be discontinued. Service from Route 50 on Sheridan between 44th and Dartmouth avenues on Route 50 will become part of Route 51, which will provide more frequent service on Route 51.

    Route 51 will be deviated from Sheridan Boulevard to serve the 60th & Sheridan – Arvada Gold Strike Station. In addition, service will be discontinued north of the US 36 & Sheridan Station. Alternate service will be provided by new Route 53.

  • route 52

    Service will deviate to serve the Olde Town Arvada Station. In addition, service on W. 64th Avenue will be discontinued west of Ward Road, alternate service on this segment will be provided by new Route 125.

  • route 53

    Route 53 is new service from Route 51 north of US 36 & Sheridan. Rush-hour service will operate weekdays every 30 minutes, and 60 minutes at all other times.

  • route 55

    Route 55 is new service that will operate between Olde Town Arvada Station and the Arvada Ridge Station. Service will operate on portions of W. 55th Avenue, Allison Street, 52nd Avenue, Garrison Street, 49th Avenue, Independence Street , W. 52nd Place and Kipling Court. Weekday frequency will be every 30 minutes, and no service on weekends.

  • route 55L

    Service will be discontinued. Alternate service will be provided by the G Line.

  • route 72

    Service will be rerouted into the Olde Town Arvada Station. Service between the Olde Town Arvada Station and Independence Street along Ralston Road will be adjusted to serve portions of W. 55th Avenue, Allison Street, W. 52nd Avenue, Carr Street and W. 57th Avenue. Service between Wadsworth and Independence Street along Ralston Road will no longer be served by Route 72, alternate service is available on Route 52.

  • route 72L

    Service will be discontinued. Alternate service will be provided by the G Line.

  • route 76

    Service will be rerouted into the Olde Town Arvada Station. In addition, weekday frequency will be 15 minutes between Lakewood Commons and Olde Town Arvada Station.

  • route 80

    Two rush-hour trips will be added between Simms Street and US 36 & Sheridan Station.

  • route 80L

    Service will be discontinued. Alternate rush-hour service will be provided by Route 80, with two trips between Simms Street and US 36 & Sheridan Station.

  • route 92

    Service will be discontinued west of Sheridan Boulevard. Alternate service will be provided on Route 100.

  • route 99

    Route 99 is new service from Route 100 south of Federal Center Station.

  • route 100

    Service will be split at the Federal Center Station. North of Federal Center Station will continue as Route 100 and service south of Federal Center Station will become Route 99. Route 100 will deviate from Kipling Street to serve the Arvada Ridge Station. Service will also be discontinued to Ridge Road by remaining on Kipling Street between 50th Avenue and Ralston Road and Oak Station by remaining on Kipling Street across Colfax Avenue. Sunday service will also be added.

  • route 125 new

    Route 125 is a new route that will replace Route 17. Route 125 will extend serve between Federal Center Station and 64th and Quaker in Arvada. Service will operate from 64th and Quaker, along portions of W. 64th Avenue, Ward Road serving the Wheat Ridge – Ward Station, Youngfield Street, W. 20th Avenue serving NREL, Denver West Parkway, Colorado Mills Boulevard, Arbutus Street serving RRCC – Lakewood, Campus Loop Road, and W. 2nd Place to the Federal Center Station. Service will operate on weekdays only, every 30 minutes during rush hours. Service will operate every 30 minutes during midday between Federal Center Station and Red Rocks College, and hourly between Red Rocks College and 64th and Quaker.
